  • The protein calculator runs in your browser. Your weight, height, age and other inputs are never sent to our servers.
  • We only turn on Google Analytics cookies if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner.
  • We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use advertising pixels.
  • You can unsubscribe, see your data, or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@dyadfit.com.

Who we are

Dyadfit (dyadfit.com) is a wellness app in development for people losing weight who want to keep their muscle. The app is not available yet. "We" and "us" mean the Dyadfit team. The company that will operate Dyadfit is not registered yet, and we will name it here before launch.

This policy covers the website only. We will update it before the app is released.

What we collect and why

Waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

  • Your email address (required)
  • Your answer to "What best describes you" (optional)

The options are: I'm on GLP-1 medication, starting GLP-1 medication soon, losing weight on my own, over 40 and want to stay strong, getting back in shape, or something else.

We use your email to send launch and early-access news, and your answer to help decide what to build first.

Contact form

We collect your name, email address, topic and message, and use them only to reply to you.

Protein calculator

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your inputs (weight, height, age, sex, training, weight-loss status, and whether you take GLP-1 medication) are not sent to our servers or to analytics. If you accepted analytics cookies, we record an anonymous "calculator used" event with none of your inputs.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2. Analytics storage is off by default for everyone and only turns on if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Before that, Google may receive basic pings without cookies or identifiers. We never send names, email addresses, form answers or health information to analytics. See our Cookie Policy.

Server logs

Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps short-term server logs, including your IP address and user agent, for security and abuse prevention. We also rate limit our forms to stop spam.

Health information needs your consent

Two waitlist options ("I'm on GLP-1 medication" and "starting GLP-1 medication soon") reveal health information. Under the EU GDPR and UK GDPR, this is special category data that needs extra protection.

So we only store your answer if you tick the consent box. If you don't, we store your email only. You can withdraw consent any time by emailing hello@dyadfit.com, and we will delete your answer.

Our legal bases

If you are in the UK or EU, we rely on these legal bases:

  • Waitlist emails: your consent.
  • Your "what best describes you" answer: your explicit consent.
  • Replying to contact messages: our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us.
  • Analytics cookies: your consent.
  • Server logs and rate limiting: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site:

  • Vercel, which hosts the website.
  • Google, for analytics, and only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Our email provider, which stores the waitlist and sends our emails. We will name it here before launch.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on the transfer safeguards they offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Waitlist data: until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or we no longer need it for the launch.
  • Contact messages: as long as we need to deal with your request.
  • Server logs: short-term, as set by our hosting provider.
  • Analytics data: according to the retention settings in Google Analytics.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your information
  • Get a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Object to how we use your information
  • Withdraw your consent at any time

Every email has an unsubscribe link. For anything else, email hello@dyadfit.com.

In the UK or EU, you can also complain to a data protection authority: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK, or your local authority in the EU.

US state privacy rights

If you live in a US state with its own privacy law, such as California, we will honor your requests to know, correct or delete your personal information. We don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

This website is not directed at anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.

Security

We protect your information with reasonable measures, including rate limiting and collecting as little as we can. Please don't send sensitive details through the contact form.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as Dyadfit grows and before the app launches. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
