What we publish

Dyadfit publishes educational guides about keeping muscle while losing weight: protein, strength training, body composition, ageing, and GLP-1 medication. They are general information for adults, not personal medical advice, and they never cover medication dosing.

Where our facts come from

We rely on primary and authoritative sources, in this order:

  1. Clinical guidelines and expert position statements (for example WHO, the US Physical Activity Guidelines, and joint society advisories).
  2. Randomized controlled trials and their published sub-studies.
  3. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
  4. Government health services (for example the NHS and CDC).

We don't use press releases, influencer content or product marketing as evidence.

How we check numbers

  • Every number is linked. Each figure in a guide carries a numbered citation to the source it came from.
  • Numbers are checked against the original. Before a figure is published it is compared with the abstract, full text or guideline page. If we can't confirm it, we don't publish it, or we describe the finding without the number.
  • We describe studies accurately. For example, body-scan (DXA) trials measure lean mass, which includes water and organs as well as muscle, so we don't call it "muscle". Averages from trials are presented as averages, not promises.
  • We say what isn't known. Where guidance is uncertain or experts disagree, the guide says so.

Tools we use

We use software tools, including AI assistants, to help find studies and draft text. A person reviews every guide, and every figure is checked against its source before publishing. Tools never decide what is true.

Review

Guides are written and fact-checked by the Dyadfit team. We are adding review by registered dietitians and clinicians, and each guide will name its reviewer once that is in place. Until then, every claim is sourced so you can check it yourself.

Independence

Dyadfit does not accept payment, sponsorship or free products in exchange for coverage, and there is no advertising on this site. We are not affiliated with any medication manufacturer.

Updates and corrections

Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We review guides when major new evidence or guidance is published.
